The FT232BL is a USB 2.0 slave to UART converter IC manufactured by FTDI (Future Technology Devices International). It is designed to provide a simple and easy way to connect a UART-based device to a USB port on a computer or other USB host.
One of the key features of the FT232BL is its flexibility. It supports a wide range of UART interface options, including 7 or 8 data bits, 1 or 2 stop bits, and even odd, even, or no parity. It also supports a variety of baud rates, from 300bps to 3Mbps, and can even be programmed to use custom baud rates if necessary.
